Calling all Charing Businesses

THE CHARING BUSINESS ASSOCIATION

The Charing Business Association’s objective is to promote and represent all Charing businesses.  There are more than 100 businesses in Charing and the belief is that the business community should have representation and collectively show its support to the community. Charing is a great place for us all, to live, work and enjoy and we want to continue to build on that.

Membership Benefits
Membership is only a small fee of £25.00 per annum.  This entitles you to all member benefits as well as knowing there is a voice to negotiate and represent Charing businesses on important issues.

Initiatives and benefits currently being developed are:

• Special Member offers eg 10% off all new NFU Mutual Insurance policies
• Reduced advertising rates eg. a 10% discount off advertising in the Village Directory (without having to book 6 issues at once which is the normal threshold for this level of discount) 
• Regular PR and feature articles on Charing and its businesses eg. in the Village Directory, local press and on the Charing website
• Fund-raising and promotional events 
• Supporting other Charing groups eg. The Parish Council, School PTA, The Ladies of the Lights
• Continued improvements for visitors and customers to enjoy coming to Charing 
• Eligibility for any relevant grants, support initiatives
• Networking opportunities with other members 
• Annual or bi-annual forums for members to voice any opinions/thoughts
• Communication updates eg. A business community notice-board

This website is kindly sponsored, run and managed by Karin Hermans of Wood You Like Ltd.  It currently receives approximately 1000 hits per month and is growing rapidly with subscribers who are kept up to date with news through instant email notifications. The website promotes Charing and all it has to offer. Your membership includes a free listing and Karin welcomes any news or features from any members wishing to promote any activity in their business.

To become a member, please complete the membership form Download CBA Membership Registration Form and return to Kerry Oliver at Olivers, 40-42 High Street, Charing together with a cheque for £25.00 made payable to the Charing Business Association.
