If you are a Charing Business Association Member, come and explode the myth at 7pm on Thursday, 12th May at The Oak, High Street Charing.

We hope this will be the first of many networking events for our Members, so while you enjoy your first drink FREE this is a great opportunity to meet other members - especially those who have a business tucked away from the High Street - we all want to know about you and hear what you have to offer!!

Charing Point to Point - Easter Saturday from 12.45 onwards

Entry from A252 Northern By-Pass (Charing Hill)

Pony racing starts at 12:45, Horse racing from 2:00pm.

Car parking including all occupants: £20 on course, £30 on hill side (£10 off car park entry fees for single occupant cars). Foot gate £5. Accompanied children free entry.

Charing Post Office change hands

End of last month Charing said goodby to long serving Post Masters James and Sally and welcomed John.

James and Sally (and Pat of course) always have took great care of all our postage, parcels and many stationeries, birthday and wedding cards needs (and then some: knitting wool, light bulbs etc).

We are sure John, assisted by Pat, will do the same for our lively lovely village. For starters our Post Office wil now also be open on Wednesday afternoons.
