The Ashford Valley Hunt Committee organises their annual Country Fair:
The “Country Fair” is being held at Charing Race Course on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May. Starting at 10 am.
Last year saw 3500 visitors, who enjoyed watching gun dog displays, beagle pack and foxhounds displays, birds of prey demonstration, the pony club, classic cars and lots of children’s entertainment.
This year between 4000 – 5000 visitors are expecting to enjoy a packed programme of similar events and spend time shopping at the trade stands and sampling the food and drink on offer. The entrance fee is £2 and the programme of events will be given to all parties entering the race course.
Some shops in and around Charing's High Street will be open too - why not pay them a visit while you're in the neighbourhood?
